Kupuna Day 2004

Kupuna Day was created by former kindergarten teacher, Marilyn Blaisdell Ane. The intent of this event is to honor grandparents and other older adults that positively influence the lives of the Wilcox Hall children.

A few photos from the chapel performance. Mari was one of the speakers and did a wonderful job.

Ricky, Tiffany and Evan also had small speaking parts while Mason snuffed the candles at the end of the chapel service.

Then it was up to the classroom for a few songs, refreshments and pictures. Here are Ariana's and Mari's kupunas.

Evan is reading to his kupuna while Elizabeth's dad filled in as her kupuna.

Haylie is reading to her grandmother and great grandmother. Don't grandmothers look so young!

Here are a few of the "Wilcox F Global Kids" singing, while the kupunas are looking on.

A picture of the Global Kids standing in front of the Kupuna Day sign. A big mahalo to Francis Tam, Gilbert Yrojo and Keith Vodzak for helping out!
