The Tinderbox

There was a soldier marching along the road .One two one two! He saw an ugly witch. The witch said inside that trunk over there is a hallway with one million lights shining. In there is three doors. If you want copper go into the first door. You will see a dog with eyes as big as tea cups put him on my apron and take some copper. If you want some silver you must go into the second door. You will see a dog with eyes as big as millwheels . Put him on my apron then get some silver. If you want gold go into the last room. There you will see a dog with eyes as big as the highest buildings. Put him on my apron and get gold. But before you come up again you will see a tinderbox. My mom forgot it when she went down there. The soldier got every thing he wanted. He came up from the trunk. What are you going to do with your tinderbox? said the soldier you are not aloud to look! said the witch. The soldier cut off her head and there she lay! He new there was a princess. He wanted to marry her . He took the tinder box out of his pocket. He saw there was a string .He lit it once and suddenly the dog with eyes as tea cups came into the room. He lit it two times and the dog with eyes as big as millwheels .He lit it three times and the dog with eyes as the highest towers .The soldier said get me the princess. The dogs did as he said and went to get the princess. He did this all the time but one day the king and queen found him .The queen said lets hang him up . That day he his head was nearly hanged up when he lit the tinder box once then twice then three times and the three dogs came and chased them away. And the two of them lived happily ever after.
