To South Africa from Romania

Dear friends from Cape Town,

We learnt about your country in our geography lessons. We found it interesting, and yes, we are so far away! We are very happy that you have the same activities as we do! We are a group of students mixed from 2th graders and 6th graders. We love school, because we have fun in school, too! We go on trips, celebrate eachother birthdays, learn to play songs, and as you can see in one of the pictures, we love our traditions (in that picture, we are dressed in our native popular costummes). English is a secondary language that we learn in school, and Romanian is our native language, it is a latin language, like italian, spanish etc. In our country there are minorities, and they speak their languages in their school. In our part of country (SE of Romania) there are few minorities. Now, we are catched in a competition, and we are going to have visitors from our country coming to participate. We are going to go on a trip at the end of the competition together. We'll do the same thing with the stories, as you'll do, and we'll be happy to read and answer your questions.

Your friends from Stefan cel Mare School, Focsani,Romania
