The flower colour is pink and white.
The leaves are dark green.
There are 8-10 seeds in each flower from May to July.
They are 5cm long.
They will flower in the 2nd or 3rd year.
This tree is used to make ﾒindigo (purple) dyeﾓ. This to dye (colour) clothes purple. That is why it is called the Indigo tree.
