1. How did you get to school?
Walking.
2. Did you have to wear uniforms?
Yes. He went to a Catholic School
3. If you disobeyed school rules how were you punished?
He was spanked with a board and kept after school.
4. If you got sick could you go home?
You had to be very, very sick to be allowed to go home
(If you through up on the teacher or in the class room you could go home).
5. Did you have specials?
No.
6. Did you have fire drills?
Yes. They also had emergency dismissals to practice for atomic bomb attacks. Sometimes they had to hide under their desks in case of this too.
7. What kind of tests did you get?
There were no C.M.T¡Çs, but there were plenty of other tests.
8. What time did you go to school?
8:45 am to 2:45 pm (They had to walk home for lunch and had 1hr. for re
