1 Q) What was the style when you went to school?A) The boys wore knickers and polo shirts and the girls wore black skirts. 2 Q) Did you learn the kinds of things then like we do now?A) No, not even close, there weren’t as many subjects. There also wasn’t as much history back then!
3 Q) Did you have to wear a “dunce cap” if you were bad?A) Not a dunce cap, but you did need to stand in the corner, everyone would laugh at you. I would know.4 Q) Were your teachers teachers or were they Nuns?A) I had both, half of my teachers were Nuns and the other half were teachers.
5 Q) Were there school buses or did your mom or dad have to drive you to school?A) Neither, I had to walk to and from school every day. Get this; I had to walk home for lunch, also!!6 Q) How many grades did you have in your school?A) Grandma-I had one school, K-8. Grandpa- I had two schools, K-5 & 6-8.
7 Q) Did you have a lot of homework when you were in school?A) No, we didn’t have a lot of homework… Not that I remember at least.
