What were lunches like?You couldn”Ēt buy your lunch, you were to bring it to school. You could buy milk or any utensils like spoons or forks. 3. How were you punished for being irresponsible or rude?You would get the same punishments as you would today. It all depended on how bad you were behaving. Sometimes you would have to sit in the back of the room, other times you had to write an apology letter. If it was worse you probably had to go to the principal”Ēs office.4. Did you have different classrooms and teachers for every grade?Yes. You had three to four teachers for every classroom. The reason why you had so many teachers was because you had a whole grade in one classroom.5. Would you stay home or still go to school on a snow day?You stayed home on snow-days. The procedure was pretty much the same as it was here.6. What did you get for homework, was it the same as it was today?Homework was the same here too. You had your basic math, science whaever topic you had was the same now. The only tings that have changed are the styles of learning. Some of the homework we have today is hard to understand because the learning system is different.7. What were your everyday routines? Did you have specials?You had specials everyday too. Back then you had gym, art, or any other subject.
