Then and Now

I have asked my grandma about some things she did in school. Here are 8 questions strait from my grandma.
1. How did you get to school?
I walked 5 miles everyday to get to school
and then come back.
2. What did you wear to school?
I could not wear slakes.
Girls had to wear skirts or a dress.
On Fridays we were allowed to wear jeans.
3. What kind of subjects did you learn?
Math, Science, Writing, English, Reading
and Social Studies.
4. How big was your school?
It was a 1 room school so it was
40x40.
5. How many kids were in your classroom?
30 kids.
6. What was your favorite subject?
History and English.
7. Did you get report cards?
Yes.
8. Did you have any weekends?
Yes.
