how the world changed

Then and now project Taylor smith Mrs. Swanson School today is a lot different then when my grandparents use to go to school. The work was not as hard, the teachers have more experience now then back then. The world has changed. Here are my questions; I had asked my grandparents about how school is different now then back then.1. How do you think school is different now then when you use to go to school? When they went to school, boys had to wear knickers and a tie in every school. The boys today do not have to wear those. ¡È They also had no gym like we do today. They always walked to school¡É2. Was it one school for all different ages or more then one school, what were the ages? They had two schools. An elementary school. The ages were five through twelve in the elementary, and thirteen trough seventeen in the middle school.3. Did you like school? They loved school because they had so many activities that were really fun! We all knew everybody4. Do you have any good memories of times you did something unusual? My grandparents don¡Çt remember. My grandma had Halloween parties and her birthday was around the same time she had many fun.5. Is it true the boys dipped the girl¡Çs hair in ink? What was their punishment? Did you ever get your hair dipped in the ink? ¡È Yes they put the girls hair in the ink. Their punishment was to go to the principles or sit in the back of the room. I never got my hair dipped in the ink.6. How would your teachers punish you? They would put them in the back of the room, or send them to the principles7. Do you wish you had school like we do today? They liked school the way it was it was fun and it was simpler. I know a lot today and I know it started with our schools back then the world changed it got stronger. So there you have it how school is different now then back then
