Then and now project


1. In school could you buy your lunch?

Yes, we could buy hot lunch in older grades but in younger grades we brought lunch. Hot lunch cost about 50 cent and milk for 20 cent and there was not any junk food.

2. What subjects did you have?

3. What was your favorite subject?

· Business classes
· Spelling
· English

4. What subject did you hate the most?

· Short hand-Writing in symbols

5. Did you have field trips and if you did what was your favorite one?

In 8th grade we had a trip to New York. In High school we had a trip to Washington!!


6. Did you have specials and if you did how many did you have?

Yes, we did have specials. We had gym and in gym we did volleyball and gymnastics. We also had music and we did a couple of plays. We had about 4 specials.

7. Did you ride the school bus?

No, we did not ride the school bus because it was not available. The mom’s would take turns carpooling kids. There were not any snow days or conference days so we did not have days off.
