1.Did you get as many shots then compared to now?A) No we didn’t get as many shots. Medical technology has improved a great deal since my day. 2. Did you go to the doctor when you got sick or did you wait it out?A) When I got sick as a child my mom would take me to the doctor.3. Did they have a vaccine for “Polo” then, or were people vulnerable back then?A) Yes, there was a vaccine for polo when I was a kid.4. Did they have a vaccine for the “Chicken Pox” back then, or were people vulnerable to it?A) No, we did not have any vaccine (shot) for Chicken Pox. So yes we were more prone to get it. 5. Do we get any shots that you didn’t?List them.A) Yes, you get more then we ever got as a kid, a few are:6. Were there as many doctors then as there are now?A) No, doctors were short when I was a kid. Not many people were studying for a doctors degree.7. If you got “Chickenpox” would you go to the doctor’s office or did you just stay home?A) When I got the Chicken Pox as a kid my mom didn’t actually take me to a doctor but she called one and got instructions on what to do with me.
