What happened to you if you got in trouble? My Grandfather would get sent to the principal's office. My grandmother had to talk to the teacher. If that didn”Ēt work they would sit in the back of the room. If that still didn”Ēt work they would go to the principal's office. In a different grade you would have to sit in a closet!
How did you get to school?
My grandfather always walked to school. My grandmother walked and rode the bus.
What kept the school warm on cold days?
For both of my grandparents they first had a coal furnace and then it changed to an oil furnace.
