Way back then, our grandparents went to school a lot different than we do now.
In school back then, you couldn”Ēt talk to your friends. If the teacher saw you
Talking to any one [ exlueding himself ] you would have to go to the front of the
Class, stick both your hands out and the teacher would slap your hands with a
Ruler. There was no bus so all the students had to walk.
There was no recess back then so the children had to be board to tears all day.
That means no fooling around at all.
My grandma says that school was fun sure I”Ēll have more fun in a torcher chamber! My grand parents both had really mean teachers.
One day, the teacher caught my grand mother talking to her friend, and he got her, so good, that her knuckles bleed. The same with my grand father, except he cried.
It”Ēs like fun was illegal. The teacher despised laughter. The teacher wore a white wig, a
Black cloak, and small glasses. The teacher”Ēs desk was all metal .Okay., so you learned a bit about our past . But what”Ēs to keep us from learning about our future?
