1 “I loved school because she had good friends and liked learning.”2 “I didn’t like mathematics at all.”3 “I had really good friends and I felt like school was a big part of my life and I had many experiences.”4 “ Some types of punishments were you had to sit in the back of the room all a lone, another one was having the teacher call home and talk to your parents and teachers may set up a conference depending on your behavior”5 “ There wasn’t any food you could buy, you had to bring a packed lunch with you every day. If you finished your lunch before the period ended you were able to some activities like jump rope or play ball, the most popular activity was a separate room the had a record player and you were allowed to dance and play songs for fun. I loved it!”
6 “The schedules were a bit boring and were the same everyday we had all are studies in the morning Math, Science, History, and English, then we had lunch, and every ones favorite was the fun classes like art, gym, music, and library.7 “ The classes we had were math, science, reading, language arts, and some foreign languages”. 8 “ Yes, we went on trips I clearly remember the Kellogg’s cereal factory trip that was a blast we got to try all types of cereal.”9 “There were no acts of prejudice, in fact I had a friend who was colored and we had many good times together we walked to school together and had each other over.”10 “ My finest memory was when I got my first kiss in the 6th grade a little boy named dick followed me home one day and popped me a kiss right on the lips my face was as red as a cherry”
