When my grandma was a kid vitamins were not shaped like characters on the flinstones. They didn’t even have the chewy kind. When my grandma was a kid she couldn’t get out of the house without taking her daily tablespoon of Codliver Oil. She says that that it was real smelly stuff that came from fish. It tasted like rotten fish. My grandma did not like it but she admitted that it was healthy.
When my grandma was little there wasn’t many cures for when you were sick. If you had a sick child or adult you would have a sign on your front door telling people not to come into the house. When my grandma was little her siblings got sick so she had to go to her grandmas house until they got better. Her grandma almost let her do what ever she wanted. She met a little boy and they became friends. One day this friend surprised vhere with a little doll. My grandma asked where he got it, he answered the dump but my grandma didn’t care. She liked the doll a lot and soon it was time to go back to her house. She couldn’t wait to show her mom the doll. Her mom liked it and asked where she got it. My grandma quickly said the town dump. My grandmas mom got so mad and threw that doll away, my grandma was very sad.
