Oh no, i'm sick.

It is amazing to think about our grandparents and what they had to deal with in school when they were our age! It just isn”Ēt right! Well, while I have your attention, I hope you don”Ēt mind I tell you a little about what my grandpa told me about the schools when he was my age. My very own grandpa told me that his school was really big! It was three stories high for goodness sake! That information blew me away! He also told me it held grades kindergarten, through eighth. Another important detail he told me was that lunch was very difficult. They had to go all the way back home for lunch, because the school couldn”Ēt afford lunches for everyone at the school. When you hit eighth grade, girls learned to sew such things like aprons, or tablecloths. The boys on the other hand, worked with wood, and made tables, and chairs. Their specials included gym, and their classes included science, grammar, and mathematics. For gym, the school couldn”Ēt afford an indoor gym, so if the weather was nice, they got to go outside foe gym, and play things like capture the flag, and tag. Recess was also another outdoor activity. Well that pretty much wraps up what our grandparents had to endure when they were our age and in school. It was really tough! I”Ēve never known it before, but grandparents act in strange ways! I”Ēm glad I don”Ēt have to deal with what they had to deal with. And that wraps up my concluding paragraph in Then, and Now.
