A visit to a docter in the pastÿ There were no big doctors offices with more than one doctor just one town doctor. ÿ The doctor used to come to the town school and did smallpox vaxeans to everyone each year, which might start up again.ÿ When you had a really really bad ear infection you had to be in your bed for weeks! Then the doctor puts a needle in your ear.ÿ When you had a wart for example on your knee the doctor puts a big needle in to numb it. The doctor then takes a little knife and the doctor digs down to the bone pulls it out and stitches it back together.ÿ The doctor would make hose visits when you were a baby.ÿ When you had a headache you would take an aspirin. And for a stomachache you would take aspirin, which can give you a bloody nose.
