My Grandma”Ēs Medicine BoxHave you ever wondered how common sicknesses were treated years ago? Well read this and find out. I asked grandma for dieses in your hair she told me about ringworm. To treat ringworm your head would be shaved and covered with a silk stocking. I also learned how they treated a stuffy nose. They would cook onions and put them on your nose.

My grandma also told me how to prevent sicknesses. They made you drink cherry cough syrup or cod liver oil witch must have been very disgusting. They also could put warm munthyolanthum on the place that felt bad.
I also asked grandma for treatment of measles, mumps, and the flu. What they would do is keep you in bed and give you any fluid they had to drink and chicken noodle soup. She also told me about treating coughs and colds. To treat them they would put Vicks vapor spray on their throat. Also if they were over two they got honey.
She also told me about rashes, bug bites, and nosebleeds. To treat a bug bite they would put baking soda and vinegar. For rashes they put Vaseline on your rash. Also for nosebleeds you pressed your nose between your thumb and pointer finger. Now you know some old treatments for sicknesses.
