How were you treated when you had the flu? My Mom’s mom let her stay home for a couple of days. She took ginger ale if she was vomiting because ginger ale calms your stomach. She would rest in bed and whenever she needed her medicine she would go downstairs and have her medicine. She was allowed to watch TV also but not all day she used the rest of the day to rest in bed so she could get better again.How were you treated when you had a fever?My mom’s mom would let her rest and watch a little bit of TV but just like the flu not all day long. She would rest with a cold rag over her head and until her fever went down. If she was vomiting she would have ginger ale to calm her stomach down. She would also take medicine like Tylenol, Motrin and Advil to reduce her fever.
How were you treated when you had a headache? My mom would rest in bed and take some Tylenol and she would stay home for a few day’s if she had a fever or depending on how bad her head hurt and if she was really sick. She would take no chewable medicine or chewable Tylenol’s depending on her age. My mom would normally be home with only her mom when she was sick because she did not have a lot of sisters. So my mom would probably be really bored during the day.
How were you treated when you had strep throat? My mom would take penicillin to make it so her be able to swallow and eat her food so it wouldn’t hurt as bad t so much when she swallowed and drank liquids. My mom thought that it did not taste good at all!!! How were you treated when you had tonsillitis? My mom would go to the doctor and recive treatment such as penicillin to make her tonsils from hurting her anymore.
