Page Creator - Format 2
Below each section of Format 2 is explained. Most of these entries are the same as Format 1. Green text indicates what differs from Format 1.
1) Enter the Title for your page. This will show as the link to your page in the Project Index and "This Month".
2a) Choose the background colour for your page. A white background is the default setting. If you choose a dark background, you will need to choose a light text colour. An alternative to colour is using a picture file as a wallpaper. To use this option you will have had to upload the picture (via Online Post) to the Project you are working in.
2b) Please select font size and colour for the text on your new web page.
a) Write the heading for your page here.
b) Select a picture you've previously uploaded via the Online Post.
c) Write your body text here.
The options (pictured above) differ from Format 1. Extra pictures and text may be added here.
d) Text aligns to the left and picture on the right.
e) Picture aligns to the left and text on the right.
f) Two areas for text, above and below a picture.
You don't have to make entries within all these spaces, just those that suit and will produce the desired alignment effect for your web page. **Important ... if your photos are large, we recommend you don't use Options d) and e) with text aligning next to a picture as it may create a very wide web page. Text would look better above or below large pictures.
When you've finished click on the [Create] button. You will be shown a preview of your page and asked "Is this page okay?" If it is select [Yes]. If you select [No] you will return to the Format 2 page you have been working on to make your changes.
Be warned, the [Rewrite] button will clear everything you have entered previously. Only use this option if your entries have been entirely the wrong ones.
