From the Earth In Motion Homepage you can view contributions by clicking on either the Nature or Culture links, or "View ALL" contributions since the beginning of Earth In Motion.
Technology @ School is a special project focusing on how Technology is integrated and used in the Classroom. Please contribute your ideas and practices so others may learn from you.
Aims
To share and appreciate the diversity and similarities within our global community. To raise appreciation of our natural and cultural world.
Methods of Sharing
1) Communication via Earth in Motion Web Pages
We exchange mainly through the creation of web pages using text, pictures, photos, video and sound. If at all possible it is helpful to limit text, or provide translation in another language, so students from countries where English is not the mother tongue can participate in Earth In Motion.
2) "Online Page Creator" System
This system enables participants to easily add a new web page to Earth In Motion. This system has two functions --- one is a post function to send picture, sound and video files and the other is a template function to easily create a new web page.
3) Earth In Motion Message Board/Discussion Forum
The Message Board/Discussion Forum has been introduced to allow contributors another means by which to communicate and interact with others. Discussions on contributions made to Earth In Motion are encouraged, under the topics: Children & Culture, Children & Nature, Technology @ School.
Participants
Anyone may participate in Earth In Motion Projects. Individuals, families, schools and organisations.
We will protect the privacy of our participants. It is the decision of contributors whether to include an e-mail address on their own pages. We are happy for contributors to use pseudonyms or a first name only on the pages they create.
In joining, participants give Project Leaders the right to use images, sound files, videos and text for the Earth In Motion web site. Information contributed should be original, with the onus on participants to specify any sources or quoted materials.
