The Progressive Story
Chapter 2 told by children of 2A, Hoegastensskolan, Sweden and translated from Swedish to English by Vicky and Maria 8E, Norrehedskolan,Sweden.
Peter ran out of Kronborg castle. By the beach he found a man, who had a surfing board. He asked if he could borrow the board, and he gladly could.
Peter surfed to Ven, an island between Denmark and Sweden
On the middle of the island he found a statue of a famous astronomer, Tycko Brahe. Peter had heard the story, that he had lost his nosetip in a duel and got an artificial nosetip of gold or was it silver? Certainly the nosetip was made of a kind of metal!
Peter climbed up on the statue to examine if it really was so.
When he picked on the nosetip it fell off and in this moment the statue became alive. Peter got scared and ran down to the beach. Tycko Brahe ran after him and he was very angry.
Joyfully Peter saw the boat Svalandia that was just going to leave Ven. Peter jumped on board. Tycko Brahe stood on the beach and shouted that he wanted his nosetip back. Then Peter discovered that in his node hand he held the nosetip!
When the boat came to Rċċ on the Swedish side he bumped into the second grade at the Hoegastensskolan.
He asked the children what he was going to do. The children thought that he first should bring the nosetip and show it to them and tell the story to children in other countries and finally return the nosetip to Tycko Brahe.
Now Peter had to hurry but before he left, he said that the children would better not go to Ven, until the nose has been returned because he thought Tycko Brahe was very angry
Peter had probably better hurry up!
