Toys in New Zealand in the 1940s

After the end of World War II in 1945
all the parents were happy that their
children in New Zealand would be safe.
Each child was given a big toy for
Christmas.
Our grandma is in this picture.
She has a pram for her doll.

Our Grandma had a doll with a
metal head and a cloth body.
Her mother made the clothes
for the doll.
