Martin Luther King Jr. Day
In Wilcox F Kindergarten Class, Honolulu, Hawaii

On Friday, January 14, Wilcox F celebrated the birth and life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It is a national holiday in the United States. The theme of our celebration was ethnic food sharing. The ethnic backgrounds of the children of Wilcox F are Hawaiian, Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Scottish, German, Bohemian, Polish, Spanish, Puerto Rican, and Cherokee to name a few. Remember what Dr. King said, " judge people not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character".
