This was our last visit to the Gates 
Science Center of the year.The children 
learned about sun safety with many 
hands 
on activities. 
                                                                           

The children are measuring the ultra 
violet rays to determine what type 
of sun tan lotion they should use. 

Some of the 
kids 
are showing 
their rainbow 
beads which 
are ultra violet 
sensitive. The 
beads change 
color when in 
the sun.
