Kawainui Marsh

Today, I took a bike ride by the Kawainui Marsh. Due to heavy flooding, caused by Hurricane Iniki of September 11, 1992, a restraining wall was built.

The wall is a few miles long. On the other side of the wall are homes.

One can see Mt. Olomana in the background. It used to be part of a volcano crater. I live in the valley between Olomana and the Koolau Mountain Range.
