Ti-leaf


The Ti leaf is very speacial to 
the hawaiian culture. The Kahuna's 
still use the ti leaf in religious 
ceremonies. The ti leaf was sacred 
symbol to the gods. In old Hawaii 
ti leaves were planted around the 
entire house to keep out the evil 
spirits. Also a ti leaf garland 
was said to relieve headaches and 
fevers.
