Aloe Vera Plant

The healing powers of aloe vera have been declared throughout the ages. Often known as "the first-aid plant," aloe was the subject of Mesopotamian clay tablets inscribed in 1750 B.C. Historians say Alexander the Great carried aloe vera plants into battle to treat wounded soldiers, and Cleopatra was said to have used fresh aloe gel to preserve her beauty. Aloe can be used as a laxative but is mainly used topically straight from the plant to relieve burns and wounds. It can also be a home remedy for skin care.

We use an Aloe Vera Plant for sunburns.
