My Wonderful Grandma
by Kaitlynd

This is about my grandma when she was a little kid.
The funniest thing that happened to my Grandma was
when my grandma's brother and sister heard the
tombstone man talking to their parents about a
tombstone. They knew you had to be buried before
you needed a tombstone. So they put grandma in
the carriage and were on their way to bury her
when their mother noticed and asked them what
they were doing. Lucky for Grandma that her mom
was watching out for her!
This is a picture of my Grandma with her Aunt and
Uncle.

The funniest thing that happened to my Grandma was
when Grandma went to a country school house they
pumped the drinking water from a well on the
school ground. One day someone pumped up a gopher.
After that the teacher brought the drinking water
from her own home.
Grandma's favorite subject was Arithmetic.
Grandma did not like to clean the chicken coop
or anything to do with the pigs. I think it had
something to do with the smell.
For fun, Grandma and her friends would play ball,
Red Rover and Kick the Can.

Grandma's saddest experience
was when her mother had to go
to the hospital because they
were not used to having her
away.
Grandma doesn't like people
being unkind and rude to one
another.

This is Grandpa Allen with a
huge valve. His company's name
is Score Valves.

Grandma has no war experience.
One thing that Grandma would
do differently is get a good
education.
Grandma gets angry when it
rains on her day off.
Grandma gets joy when she
cooks a big meal and has the
whole family home.
Grandma's advice is to make
each day positive and expect
to be happy. Try always to
learn something new and
meaningful each day.
