My Grandpa Terry
by Carl Rees

This story is about my grandpa Terry. My grandpa
Terry Rees is my mom's dad. He is 53 years old
and lives in British Columbia. This is me with my
Grandpa Terry.

My grandpa works as a landscaper because the mine
thing my grandpa did when he was little was he
picked up a snake and chased his mom saying
"stick". The funniest thing he remembers about
school is when his brother tried to jump out the
third floor window so he did not get the strap.

My grandpa's favorite subject
 was science and his worst
chore was doing the dishes.
For fun he played cowboys and
Indians with pellet guns.They
also built soapbox cars out
of apple crates and put wheels
on them. Then, raced them down
hills. My grandpa's saddest
experience was when his dad
died.

One thing he would do
differently would be getting
more education. It makes my
grandpa angry that criminals
don't get punished enough.
Camping and fishing gives him
joy. The advice he gave me
was to get lots of education.
