Message from a Grandmother in Japan

My grandma in Niigata is 70 years old.
She experienced a war when she was a girls' 
high school student. I interviewed her about 
the war when I visited my grandparents during 
summer holidays.

Message from her:
"I could not enjoy my youth --- 
terror, little food, poor clothes and no freedom. 
No more wars!"
