The Autumn Festival Eve

We had an autumn festival in our 
community on October 20. 

On the autumn festival eve, townspeople 
cleaned the shrine and its precincts. 
The branches lopped down were collected 
in the center of the precincts, and 
they made a bonfire with the brances.

Every year, a 
sumo 
tournament is 
held for 
children in 
the community. 
Both boys and 
girls 
wrestle. 

It was rainy and cold, but children did 
their best to win the tournament!
