On July 5, 2002, we toured
Chulalongkorn University, which is
named after their famous king.
Chulalongkorn University is the most
presitious university in Thailand, and
all of our lecturers were faculty
members there. That evening we
had our welcome dinner from the
Thailand United States Educational
Commission, which administers all
of the Fulbright programs in
Thailand. Great food, wonderful
entertainment and strong fellowship
prevailed throughout the evening.
Here are a few photos of our visit.

A group picture of the fourteen
Fulbrighters in Thailand.

This is a spirit
house which
every home
and
apartment
building has
on its
property. This
is to avoid
bad spirits in
one's home.

Anyone for a
Thai stop
sign? This is
sanskrit.
Notice the
influence from
Indian.

Here is a wonderful picture from the
dinner festivities. I was so greatly
impressed by Thai dancing.
