This past summer I was a particpant of
Fulbright Hays Seminars Abroad
Travel to Thailand and Vietnam,
Summer 2002, Gateway To South East Asia
Heritage. This six week trip took me to
Thailand and Vietnam for six weeks. There
will be many more contributions of my
trip in the future. I thank the
United States Department Of Education
for this fantastic fellowship.

Ho Chi Minh is considered the father of
Vietnam. Ironically, he was never married
nor had children. His picture is seen
everywhere.

There were two
lines for
entering
the masoleum.
One is for
Vietnamese
and one for all
foreigners.

A dress code was
enforced, and
you were advised
not to wear a
hat, sunglasses
or have your
hands in your
pockets. This
would be
disrespectful.
Ho Chi Minh is
viewed as the
father of the
new Vietnam.
