Here in Hawaii will celebrate May 3 as 
Boys' Day. There is a big population of 
Japanese Americans here. Ironically, in 
Japan it is celebrated as 
Childrens'Day.In Wilcox F we celebrated 
this event with three fun activities.All 
of these activities were parent directed.

Using chopsticks, "hashi", can be 
challenging! Picking up marshmellows are 
easy, but M&Ms are difficult.

Making origami 
samurai hats.

Making sushi is 
fun and it 
tastes great 
too!
