Aloha from Hawaii,
Here in the Northern Hemisphere many of us have begun the new school year.
As I am a teacher of the very young, most of my energies have been devoted to
my classroom during the previous month. I am pleased to report things are
going well in Wilcox F, my classroom. Feel free to take a peek at our
website.

In the month of September, we had almost fifty contributions to Earth
Calendar Online. I would like to congratulate the fifth grade students at Yuge
Elementary School in Japan for using the Online Creator by themselves. I
expect that in the near future, they will be the new leaders and teachers
of technology. I assume this is happening worldwide! Many thanks to our
friends in South Africa for making the numerous contributions about their
grandfriends. I found their donations very touching. I must confess that I
loved Donna Fullwood's "Wave Rock" link. Donna is the younger sister of our
resident "genius" Lynne Ralph. I hope everyone enjoys the wonderful
facelift for Earth Calendar Online, created by Lynne. It is an
exciting change and aesthetically pleasing.
I now would like to challenge all of our regular participants, occasional
participants and future participants, to strive for the most productive
month of our existence. The benefits of participating in Earth Calendar
Online are numerous. The most rewarding experience for me is the continual
learning process about the different cultures and countries of the world.
Our global community is getting smaller as we make our cultural exchanges.
Mahalo (thank you),
