Greetings to you all! June has been another tremendously successful month for Earth Calendar Online with 197 contributions uploaded. We have seen contributions from Japan, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Denmark, Italy, Hawaii, Wales, New Zealand and Germany. Many thanks to those who have contributed this month and congratulations to those who have successfully mastered the ONLINE PAGE CREATOR for the first time. Many thanks to those who continue to regularly contribute to Earth Calendar Online! The June Art Gallery (which can be viewed from the July Index) has approximately 140 drawings and photos done by children. Well done to you all!!! You can be very proud of your accomplishments, the gallery is brimming with examples of your creative talent. Many thanks to Judith Bennett who continues to do a fantastic job as Art Gallery Webmaster. Judith has done particularly well keeping up with all the Children's Art this month. A reminder to start using the JULY codes when uploading your contributions. If you have lost your codes or need assistance to upload your contributions, please remember your Project Leaders are happy to help. The Earth Calendar Online Server is now Real Media compliant. Many thanks to the technician and support staff, as well as TORIGOE Genshi, Yuko and Sota from Japan. Sota has uploaded a video test file - "Test pitching" - in the July Index. To view you will need to have installed RealPlayer G2 http://www.real.com/products/player/index.html If you wish to upload Real Media Video files to Earth Calendar, you can do this via the ONLINE POST function. For a reminder on how to do this, visit our Getting Started and Online Help files: http://paoprj.lucksnet.or.jp/earth-c/11gene/gs_01.html In the not too distant future, we will update the Getting Started files with information on how to create Real Video. Another exciting development from Real Media is a new piece of software, Real SlideShow G2. You can easily create Slide Shows with pictures, sound and/or narration. This would be particularly suitable for Earth Calendar Online contributions. If you wish to find out more about this new development, visit the Real Media site: http://www.real.com/products/slides.html Please remember your Project Leaders are happy to help and assist you, please feel free to send any one of us a message.
