Our School - Japan

This is our school building. Our school is
more than 100 years old, but new building
was built about 3 years ago.

This is a statue of
NINOMIYA Kinjiro, who is
said to have read books
while working with firewood
on his back.

Guess what?
It is a model of a water
mill in the school yard.
Waterwheels were used to
hull rice when my father
was a child about 35 years
ago.

Our school is by a river. "Nanohana" is in
full bloom by the river bank.
