Hello our global friends

You are our great opportunity to tell the American people directly that we are close to them because we understand their feelings which are the same we are experiencing:

FEAR, SADNESS, UNEASINESS but also HOPE, CONFIDENCE, and DESIRE FOR PEACE.

We are sure (we want to be sure because our "social" lives are only at their beginning) that the terrible terrorist attacks are not a war among countries, religions, west world against the east one, but they are the war of a group of fanatic, intolerant persons which can't win: we believe that great, universal values such as

sympathy, solidarity, no sham altruism, respect for human rights, and friendship,

will win.

We have written "friendship": this e-mail testifies you and we are "close" even if we are Italian, European, Catholics, thirteen and you are Hawaiian, American, no matter which religion, younger or older: simply we are students who are living the same emotions and who think that being global friends give way to peace in the world.
