Children of all different religions and cultures made up their own prayers for a special Peace Assembly.

"We, the children of Micklefield School in Cape Town, South Africa, stand united with you in this very sad and frightening time.  We are lighting a candle as a symbol, that out of this darkness, hope will once again burn brightly in your hearts.  Hope that your world will return to normal and that fear will be stripped away and that peace will prevail.  We, the children of the world must reach out to one another to make this world a better place in the future.  You are in our thoughts and prayers."
