Trees - Message from Yuge 5th graders Japan Hi friends, We are studying woods now. We will learn how to take care of trees in a forest park in our community next week. Please tell us about a rare, big, wonderful, or wonderous tree in your country. Have you ever thought what would become of woods 100 years after? I have two ideas. One is that trees will disappear because they are cut down and die. The other is that the number of trees will increase because technology prevents environmental degradation from developing. Haruka thinks that woods and living things will suffer from exhaust gas caused by the increase of cars and die. --- Yui, Haruka We are looking for wonderful trees in various countries. We have a big MUKU tree and an old cherry tree in our community. Don't you have a big or beloved tree in your country? If you have, please let us know. What are you doing to take care of trees and woods? --- Akiko, Ayaka We look forward to hearing from you. Bye for now. Yuge Elementary School 5 graders |
