Modern Kimono ![]() Kimono is a Japanese traditional loose- fitting garment with sleeves which is folded over in front. There are no buttons; a sash called an Obi is used to close the garment. Today most Japanese wear western-style clothes in everyday life. Kimono is worn on special occasions such as weddings and ceremonies.
