Paterson's Curse looks great beside fields of yellow Canola.
Farmers grow Canola for the cooking oil market.
Canola and Paterson's Curse grow wild where there are no fields e.g. beside the road.

There are flowering trees in Spring mixed with the gum trees beside the road.

Some gum trees flower in Spring but in Australia there are some of the trees in flower at any time of the year. Most Australian trees have green leaves all year around too.
