River Cat
Sydney to Parramatta
Australia

Travelling around the city of Sydney can
be done in many ways.
The most pleasant way is by water - there
are ferries and hydrofoils.
This picture is taken from on board
the River Cat - a catamaran ferry.

As the ferry goes up the Parramatta River.
there are mangroves on either side.
There are posts to mark the channel.
They are painted red and are easy to
see in the daytime.
At night, each one has a light.
The power for the light is made
during the day using the sun.
There are solar panels on the post.
