Tsukimi (Moon Viewing) - Japan

Tonight we had the full moon in Japan.

We picked up pampas grass.

Natsuki and her grandma made 
rice dumplings for an offering.

We placed  pampas grass, rice dumplings, fruit
and vegetables --- grapes, a pear, sweet potatoes
on a stand set up on the veranda and offered them
to the moon. We enjoyed the beautiful full moon
to our heart's content.
