Kau Mango Festival - Pahala, Hawaii

This is a celebration for the ongoing Mango season. Besides just eating the mango plain, it can be delicious in cereal or on top of ice cream. Have you ever tried mango chutney?
There were quite a few craft booths and of course some local food featuring mangos.
The local entertainment was quite good. Here is a jazz band that entertained the people at the festival.
For me, the highlight of the festival was to listen to the local recording group "Kau". They are the pride and joy of this district and have already produced a few CDs.
