| One day, the other animals were jealous of the Kangaroo because it could jump so high and could dodge spears and boomerangs. No-one could stop her so they taught her a lesson.They all sourounded the Kangaroo and one of them had a very sharp stick and put a slice in her stomach. She lay on the ground screaming in pain. The others felt sorry for her and helped her recover. When that Kangaroo had a joey she kept it in her pouch until it was too big. That's how the Kangaroo got its pouch. |
