Dear Natsuki, Your question really made us think. We thought all of us say "He, He" when we laugh. Now, we know that is not true. This was how we found out. We went in all the classrooms and asked the girls to leave the room first. Then we asked the boys to laugh. Then we'd tell the boys to leave the room and asked the girls to come into the classroom. We then asked them to laugh. It was very interesting. Here was the result. We found out that girls from Grade 1 to 3 say "He, He" and boys from Grade 1 to 3 say "Ha, Ha". We found out that as children get older their laugh change to "Ha, he, ha" Both boys and girls from Grade 5 to Grade 9 say "Ha, Ha". We really enjoyed doing the survey for you, Natsuki. The owls here say "Whooo". Yes, we have seen owls. There are lots of owls in Alberta. Our provincial bird is the Great Horned Owl. We have been doing reasearch on owls. We have collected some interesting facts about them, if you like we can email them to you. We have been writing poems about mothers. We make them into booklets and will give them to our mothers as presents. This coming weekend is Mother's Day. Do you have Mother's Day over there, too?
