Rhein in Flammen  (Rhine in Flames)
              May 1st 

Am Abend und in der Nacht des 1.Mai 1999 finden
in der Rheinaue und entlang des Rheins von Linz
bis Bonn zahlreiche Feuerwerke statt. Der ganze
Rhein von Linz bis Bonn wird in rotes Licht 
getaucht.

On the evening and in the night of May 1 there
will be numerous fireworks in the Rheinaue and 
along the rhine from Linz to Bonn. The whole 
rhine will be shining in red light.

sehen, wo das groà… Abschlu
feuerwerk gegen 23.00 Uhr
stattfindet. 500.000 Zuschauer
sind allein im Rheinauenpark und
bis zu 1.000.000 Menschen 
stehen entlang des Rheines.
Alle Kinder duerfen bis spaet
in die Nacht aufbleiben :-)

at around 11 p.m. More than 500 
thousand people are alone in
the park and 1 million people
are standing along the rhine.
All kids are allowed to stay up 
until the morning :-)
