All along the beachfront, there were fun park rides - ferris wheels, giant slides, etc.

Boys and girls cannot resist playing with the water in the fountain. This part of the street is closed to traffic these days.

Children quickly make friends with  other children playing there.

Many people were eating outdoors.

paintings of local scenes.

There were many stalls - selling craftwork, gifts, clothes, toys and books.
